gmx.net does not allow mails whose From: address is
@yahoo/hotmail/any other free mail server, but sent
through a different SMTP gateway. It is their method
of protection from spam - users can disable it, of
course.
I had reported this to their helpdesk sometime ago,
and had received an explanation from one of their PR
types. That mail is at office, I could resend it to
you first thing Monday morning ;-)
Workaround? Either use your ISP/Work email address, or
use yahoo.com's web interface, or use Yahoo's SMTP
server instead of your ISP's.
