Hi All,
I have a problem with mysql server.
Iam using mysql 3.23.22-beta-log.
when iam executing a perl script in telnet the output is fine.
but when iam executing the same script through browser it is giving
DBI->connect(database=bugs;host=localhost;port=) failed: Can't connect to
local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111) at
/var/www/cgi-bin/changeme.cgi line 16
can't connect at /var/www/cgi-bin/changeme.cgi line 16.
I don't understand why the script is getting executed fine in telnet prompt
and why not through browser.
Please help me.
