Hello,
What scsi controller do you have?
Have you tried makinitrd to make an initial ramdisk for the kernel that
you have from the installation on the scsi disk, and including it in the
lilo.conf. This would include the scsi drivers needed to access the scsi
disk on boot.
Here is an extract for an example
image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.2.17-14
label=linux
initrd=/boot/initrd-2.2.17-14.img
root=/dev/sda9
read-only
