since wu-ftpd does not have any config option to disable identd lookups i am
trying to install proftpd.i have managed to start it using xinetd and am
using the sample startup script with chkconfig command to make it start when
rc scripts are invoked.i am having difficulty in making a proftpd.conf file
from scratch and am unfortunately quite unfamiliar with the apache style
directives used in the /etc/proftpd.conf file.in case any of you are using
proftpd please show me your proftpd.conf file so that i can access my home
directory through ftp.
regards,
