Add a mailcap entry for image/jpeg as well. I believe some mailers use
image/jpeg, and some image/jpg. In fact, in linux, /etc/mime.types
associate image/jpeg to .jpg files.

When you view the mail, mutt has a section that looks like:

[-- Attachment #2: test.gz --]
[-- Type: application/octet-stream, Encoding: base64, Size: 37K --]

The part after the Type: is what you should add in your .mailcap file
(in this case, application/octet-stream).
