For the past few days I had a feeling that my CPU fan was making a lot of
noise so I installed lm_sensors to if there was any problem
this is what i see in the output of sensors

fan1: 6553 RPM (min = 0 RPM, div = 2)

(initially it did say minimum speed was 3000RPM or something but that
changed for reasons unknown to me)

temp1: +32.0C (limit = +0C, hysteresis = +0C) sensor = thermistor
temp2: +72.0C (limit = +0C, hysteresis = +0C) sensor = thermistor
temp3: +255.5C (limit = +0C, hysteresis = +0C) sensor = 3904 transistor

I've been unable to get any of the GUI monitors to work :(
(either I'm using the latest lm_sensors library or the proggie doesn't
support my sensor chips)

Using a via mobo ...

w83782d-i2c-0-2d
Adapter: SMBus vt82c596 adapter at e800
Algorithm: Non-I2C SMBus adapter

can anyone tell me how do I bring the CPU temp. down.. I think 72.0C is a
bit too high esp. since load average: 0.00, 0.02, 0.05
