This depends upon how your LILO is compiled on your distro.
The input interruption can be obtained by pressing Shift or
Tab (in some distros), which gives the list of loadable OSs
as stated in lilo.conf e.g. win, dos, linux etc.
Once interrupted the timeout goes for a bunt, and until one
of the params are entered it will wait.
The only 100% security is a 50 Kg lock with a half Kg key !
Suresh has also stressed on this physical security issue.
