I am running exim on a debian box. Incoming mail using pop is working. I am having problems using VSNL's SMTP servers for any outgoing mails. I have configured exim as a smarthost. The relevant portion of my exim.conf is: /---- | # Send all mail to a smarthost | | smarthost: | driver = domainlist | transport = remote_smtp | route_list = "* md3.vsnl.net.in bydns_a" | end \---- When I send mails, I get the following message in my mainlog file: /---- | 2001-09-23 10:36:49 15lBJI-0001nt-00 <= [EMAIL PROTECTED] U=karra | P=local S=523 | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | 2001-09-23 10:36:55 15lBJI-0001nt-00 ** [EMAIL PROTECTED] | R=smarthost T=re | mote_smtp: SMTP error from remote mailer after RCPT TO:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> | : host md3.vsnl.net.in [202.54.6.35]: 554 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: | Recipient address rejected: Access denied \---- Other addresses (like yahoo.com and cs.utah.edu) also share the same fate. What am I doing wrong? -karra -- All's well that ends. _______________________________________________ linux-india-help mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-india-help
