When I run fetchmail, I sometimes get the following message:
fetchmail: 5.7.4 querying pop.hotpop.com (protocol POP3) at Tue Sep 11
19:52:14$fetchmail: fetchmail: getaddrinfo(pop.hotpop.com.pop3)
fetchmail: Query status=2 (SOCKET)
fetchmail: 5.7.4 querying pop.mail.yahoo.com (protocol POP3) at Tue Sep 11
19:5$fetchmail: fetchmail: getaddrinfo(pop.mail.yahoo.com.pop3)
fetchmail: Query status=2 (SOCKET)
fetchmail: 5.7.4 querying 202.56.240.1 (protocol POP3) at Tue Sep 11 19:52:14
2$fetchmail: Query status=2 (SOCKET)
fetchmail: fetchmail: sleeping at Tue Sep 11 19:52:14 2001
What does getaddrinfo mean ? I searched the man page for fetchmail but there
is no getaddrinfo in it. When I get theses messages, no mail is downloaded.
