I have installed wwwoffle 2.6d from the tarball. I have added the ip-up and
ip-down scripts to /etc/ppp/ip-up.local and ip-down.local scripts. I
configured konqueror to use localhost:8080 as the readme instructed. It
initially worked fine.
Now, after a boot up I am not able to connect to the net.
ps -aux does not show wwwoffle.
konqueror gives the following error : Could not conect to host proxy
localhost, port 8080.
On running wwwoffle -online I get the following error mesage:
[root@farzaan spavri]# wwwoffle -online
wwwoffle[1844] Warning: Failed to connect socket [Connection refused]
wwwoffle[1844] Fatal: Cannot open connection to wwwoffle server localhost
port 8081
If I remove te prxy statement from konqueror configuration, I can browse.
