Maildrop or procmail won't do it. You can stop downloading the
mail altogether by changing your sendmail options. You need to
rewrite your sendmail.mc with an additional line:
O MaxMessageSize=1048576 ........ (viz. 1 mb)
Then recompile with m4 as per sendmail procedures. Pl note that
this would still not boomerang back to user, and would be there,
sitting at your ISP mailbox as dead weight. You need to flush it
out by directly telneting into port 110 of your ISP POP3 server
and manually doing a DELE, or using some dedicated software like
popcheck (d/l from freshmeat).
For boomerang techniques, you need to get some dedicated program
(I know of none) or write a script in perl/ tcl/ python ... or
anything that can speak TCP/IP.
