I disagree with this expaination.
1. noauth disables your box asking the remote machine from asking for
authorisation and the entry has to be there for dial up access
2. My ISP which uses CHAP. I get the same message when I connect up using
wvdial. Data throughput takes place without any problem. I am able to browse
any site.
3. However, with vsnl, if you get this message, it would be right to
disconnect.
