But if you are a person that can loose the root password... what's the
guarantee that you'll remember the lilo one ?? ;-)

Also anyone can come with tomsrtbt ... pop the disk in... have fun with
your machine and leave!!

so a BIOS password is the probably the best way to secure the system...
someone will have to remove the battery to remove that password!

which again brings us back to the physical security... nothing beats Fort
Knox !! :)
