The problem here is access to NTFS partition. AFAIK, NTFS is not yet supported by linux kernel, though drivers are under develop- ment ( http://www.informatik.hu- berlin.de/~loewis/ntfs ). Access here is read only ... sad :-( I saw some software in one of these PCQs or Digit some time ago on one of the CDs on this issue for NT or 2k .. I don't remember where. If I come across it again, I'll let you know.
