Check the output of following command [shridhar@daithan shridhar]$ ls -al `which Xwrapper` -rws--x--x 1 root root 6024 Apr 8 14:19 /usr/X11R6/bin/Xwrapper* Note that 's'. If it's lost i.e. it's shown as rwx, do chmod +s `which Xwrapper` as root.
