Hi Guys

Sudhir you mentioned you need help in designing the CD. You do you have
in mind? 30Mb seems to be such a waste of the CD. Can we come up with
some more info that might be useful for beginners and advanced users
alike. Some suggestions

1. Additional mailing archives from other sources, besides ilugd.
2. Latest updates, security patches
3. General software of interest. I have a good collection with me almost
2Gb :). Of course some of it will be outdated or newer versions are
available.
4. A categorized list of software for various purposes, with links of
where to get them.
5. Experiences with Linux in general of other members of the group.
Things like a peculiar situation a person might have faced and how it
was solved. e.g. the FTP problem Yashpal had posted earlier, I knew
about this because I had faced the same during my initial installs of
Linux. This could also be evolved as HOWTO's with step by step
instructions to do things.

I would like to hear from other members of this group about this.

Regards

Rashik
