I wouldnt consider using a seperate group to be shortcut, thats the
very reason why groups are for. Sudo is for those scenarios where the
default "ugo" level of permissions is not adequate. And its a great
headache saver in those instances.

is it ? Being a poor home luser i havent had the need do sudo yet
