There was this script called gotmail that would work like fetchmail and
deliver ur hotmail mails to your local mailbox (or any other address for
that matter)

I think most of these client come with just one single monolithic
binary... so you should be able to just compile then and run them.

maybe you need the newer versions of some library... can't say much from
the limited error message that you have posted.
