I have the same card too.. but it's overkill when all you want is full duplex ! I've had it for over a year now... and haven't really done anything with it under linux that I couldn't have done with any other card. And though SB officially supports linux .. the linux drivers and utilities don't compare to those under windoze. if you are going to be working only on linux ... the SB Live is a bit of a overkill.
