I solved the problem. Hope you received the solution.
This is where I went wrong.
1. First I was trying to post to a news group which doesn't accespt
binaries.
That time it gave me error saying that trying to post binary to a
non binary news group.
2. I enabled binaries in the cleanfeed.conf by setting.
'block_binaries' => 0,
3. This time when I tried to send attachments, it gave me the MIME error
I looked into /etc/news/cleanfeed.conf file again and found that I
have to set two more
variables to 0 like
'block_mime_html' => 0,
'block_html' => 0,
Now the news group started accepting binary files and attachments.
Your reply was also pointing to the correct direction.
