Go to one of the Linux vendor sites like www.freeos.com or
www.gtcdrom.com and have a look at what is available.

AFAIK,

o RH - 7.2 kernel 2.4.xx
o Slack - 8.0 kernel 2.2.19 or 2.4.5
o Debian - 2.2r3 (Potato) Kernel 2.2.19 (Note: Woody specs
are being frozen on 08 Dec, and would be put on
stable by Christmas. kernel 2.4.xx )
o MDK - Don't know, should be about 8.x or something.

Actually, except for Debian which keeps version numbers in
consonance with kernel version others make no sense. When
RH was in 6.x, Slack was only in Ver 4.0 ! Some folk star-
ted thinking that Slack may be old ! So, you know what the
Slack folk did ? They skipped Ver 5 and 6 and released 7.0
straight ! To be one step ahead, they released ver 8. Now
it is time for RH to play the catch-up-with-me game !!!
