Sure, duplication is difficult. But of late I am seeing lot of hard
disks crashing very frequently. On some of the quotations that I
receive, there is a new clause for hard disks: No Warranty for hard disk
burning (sic). I was surprised at this. Asking a couple of my dealer
friends revealed this: many reworked hard disks are being passed off as
new. Same for the cpu's. I am not sure, they remarked as marked cpu's
which implies that they are rejects which have somehow found their way
here. These suppliers usually give a very low quote. Better look for the
fine print before one commits onself.

Any body else has any more info on these, please post it on the list, so
that we do not buy duds.
