Dear Guru Murthy,
First go to theALSA website http://www.alsa-project.org (I don't
remember the address correctly, check with google). Download the
latest driver (don't download the beta series most probably 0.9.x) and
the tons of documentation available. Read it. Try to install. If in trouble
ask for help on the list again.
As for the FM801 module, it is part of the ALSA driver package.
