hi,
i m new to linux and not very familiar with linux kernel stuff..
many times on the list i read some mails saying compiling kernel and so
on..
i have RH 7.1 and W98 on my PIII system...
i want to know...y do we compile kernel...what what does it really mean..?
where does it lies in the system....and what is it like??
