Hi,

U can create an installation boot floppy from the Installation CD.
Got to any CD-ROM connected machine, put the installation CD of linux.
The 'rawrite' command for copying the images to disk from DOS is
included on the Red Hat Distribution CD. You can use 'dd' also to copy
the image.

If u r going thru windoz, insert a blank formatted 3.5 inch floppy disk
to drive A, jump to go MS DOS prompt, change to the drive pointed to CD
ROM, then go to 'dosutils' directory, run 'rawrite'. Run the rawrite
command as follows.
   rawrite
Enter disk image source file name: D:\images\boot.img
[Assumed that D is the drive letter for CD-ROM]
Enter target disk drive: a:
Please enter a formatted diskette and press enter.

After u press enter, the image is written to the disk. Remove the disk
and mark it appropriately.

Now u can boot thru this floppy and once it prompts for the installation
media, put the distribution CD and choose CD-ROM.

regards

Vinoos.
