Considering VSNL doesn't allow relaying of non vsnl mails and a few others have either followed suit or didn't allow it from the beginning... most people with their own domains are forced to use a SMTP relay that is on an external network. ... |Essentially, what I had suggested was essentially ip-up and |ip-down which are called up by pppd on successful connect |and disconnect.
