Sometime Today, Kingsly John assembled some asciibets to say:

> ofcourse you want to write all your mails in an editor or online.

I did this when I was still using vsnl's student account. Actually, I
used pine on my local machine, but instead of the mails going to
sendmail, they went to a perl script that I wrote.

This script queued the mails, until I connected to vsnl using minicom.
Then, another script running through minicom would send keystrokes to
connect to vsnl's smtp server and send all my mails. Another script did
the job of fetchmail - receiving mails in the same way.

Saved me hours of online time, and very little lost time through
connection lag.
