I tried out the XF86Setup since the following
are only files in /usr/X11R6/bin that
somehow relate directly to X.
  XF86Setup XF86_SVGA XF86_VGA16
They asked if I wanted to use the existing /etc/X11/XF86Config
for defaults , which I chose .
I then changed the thing to 32 bpp ,
and when it restarted , it said that the settings were perfect ,
and the old entries have been saved as XF86Config.bak
BUT ... the pictures still look full of grains.Clarity is slightly
better , but not perfect , even when I run
startx fvwm -bpp 32
Should I paste in any section of /etc/X11/XF86Config ?
It looks like they still take in defaults of 8 as opposed to 24
or 32.
    I forgot to add :
In qvwm , my menu sizes happen to be larger than the screen , and
    same with Window sizes .

Shyam
