There is no equivalent of rpm -qa under apt-get. The eqival-
ent of rpm in debian is dpkg (and NOT apt-get). Install capt
(console-apt) or 'aptitude' and they will display all pack-
ages installed, and be a full front end for apt-get.

Under dpkg, the equivalents are:

dpkg --list or -l ( similar to rpm -qa ) and
dpkg -L <package-name> will list all files in a specific
                       package

man dpkg for details ... you are knocking at the wrong door
by looking for such things in apt-get.

Under certain window managers like fvwm2 and blackbox, you
can switch from one desktop/ window to another by pressing
Ctrl-Rt-Arrow and Ctrl-Lt-Arrow.
