I read the LOST about using the function keys to launch programs. I made
a .inputrc and copied the LOST contents into it. So far so good. Then I
wanted to also use the F6 and subsequent keys, so I modified the .inputrc
file as follow: (added the last line)
-------------------------------------------------------------------

#LOST #129 -**< Sub : Function key menu with .inputrc >**-
"\e[[A":"mutt -y\C-M" # F1 Put your commonly used apps
"\e[[B":"links\C-M" # F2 here and save the file with
"\e[[C":"mc\C-M" # F3 the name of .inputrc. Just
"\e[[D":"fetchmail -v -e50\C-M" # F4 by pressing F1 - F5 the app
"\e[[E":"sendmail -q\C-M" # F5 comes up ! No typing ;-)
"\e[[F":"lynx slashdot.org\C-M" # F6
----------------------------------------------------------------------

but, F6 does not work, even after a logout & login. It just prints a ~ to
the screen. Which file gives the equivalent of the function keys (as in
\e[[A being equivalent to F1). Can I use F6 thru to F12 keys like this? I
am working on the console w/ PCQlinux 7.1. F1 to F5 work as desired.

regards,

Sharukh.
