yeah there exists a crude way which is not very accureate but works.
Run gtop the look for the programs name in the list (run the program if it 
isnt) the subtract shared mem usage from total memory usage and u have it. 
But it can be  wron as the shared memory for that matter a library can only 
be used that prog only so look for it.
Read the gtop manual for more info.
