Just mentioned it, taking the example from the original post. I also have a gl:, gb: and gu: for google linux search, bsd search and groups search respectively, plus a number of others - like maps: for MAPS RSS queries, ordb: for www.ordb.org lookups etc. ;-) Incidentally, I haven't found a way to make this work with websites whose search forms work using the HTTP POST method. www.dict.org, for example.
