What is the "MailScanner" you are mentioning here ? 

SpamAssassin is  a perl script  which is a  command line tool  to filter
mails, it  is called  via your .procmailrc  or .forward file.   You also
have  to  install  additional  Perl  modules via  the  CPAN  shell,  the
Mail::Audit plug-in to filter your mail.

You need  not figure out the keywords  to filter out spam.   Just put in
these lines in your .procmailrc towards the end of the recipe.

There is nothing to beat Spam if you use this tool together with another
utility called 'razor'.
