What is the "MailScanner" you are mentioning here ? SpamAssassin is a perl script which is a command line tool to filter mails, it is called via your .procmailrc or .forward file. You also have to install additional Perl modules via the CPAN shell, the Mail::Audit plug-in to filter your mail. > have not yet started using it because I could not configure it to > block emails containing specific keywords You need not figure out the keywords to filter out spam. Just put in these lines in your .procmailrc towards the end of the recipe. ------- :0f | /usr/bin/spamassassin -P :0: * ^X-Spam-Flag: YES $MAILDIR/spam/ ------- There is nothing to beat Spam if you use this tool together with another utility called 'razor'. -- /(__ __|\ ragOO, VU2RGU<->http://gnuhead.dyndns.org/<->GPG: 1024D/F1624A6E ( \/ __)_ Helping to keep the Air-Waves FREE Amateur Radio ) (_____ / Helping to keep your Software FREE the GNU Project /___________/ Helping to keep the W W W FREE Debian GNU/${kernel} _______________________________________________ linux-india-help mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/linux-india-help
