This is what someone did on ilug-bom once.  Registered with a forwarding 
account.  It used to forward to him, so he could confirm the 
subscription.  Then redirected the forwarder to another mailing list, 
hoping to create a mail loop.  Unfortunately, he hadn't subscribed all 
the ilug-bom members to that other list, so all mails bounced.

We tracked it down to a onelist.com account.

no.  a property of mailman no less.

has anyone thought of putting up a search interface for the archives?
