Hi list,

I'm getting a hda: lost interrupt failure for one of my hard disks.
The good one is the secondary master, the faulty one is the primary master.
I disabled auto detection of primary IDE in BIOS.
Linux boots from /dev/hdc.
But it gives error while reading partition table of /dev/hda
And it keeps spewing out
hda: lost interrupt
hda: lost interrupt
I even tried putting the disk on primary master and installing linux through
CD, but i get the same error messages.
I think i'm smart enough to know that my hard disk is completely burnt out,
but is there anybody out there who has gone through this and maybe
knows a way out???

Thanx
