Linuxmail.org only does webmail I believe. It is one of the cobranded
freemail domains we host. But am not sure of the exact details re linuxmail.
At a guess, I'd say that you would have to pay something for getting pop3 and
imap, if the facility is available on that cobrand.
Hotmail gives you access to its mail only through outlook express, using some
kind of ASP scripting which makes it more or less like IMAP. So it is either
outlook express, or web access.
Yahoo provides pop3 - which you can access using fetchmail.
