The program "gotmail" neatly fetches mail from hotmail. The session
follows:

    ~$ gotmail
    Gotmail v0.6.6 Copyright (C) 2000 Peter Hawkins
Gotmail comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY.
This is free software, and you are welcome to redistribute it
under certain conditions; see the file COPYING for details.

    Getting hotmail index page...
    Logging in...
    Following redirect...
    Loading main display...
    Loading folder list...
    Loading folder "Inbox" page 1...
    Getting email messages...
    Getting email messages...
Loading folder "Junk Mail" page 1...

    All done!

This put the messages to a file Inbox in my ~ (not mbox as mutt did not
open it). This I did just to check gotmail. A detailed reading of
gotmail should solve some of the issues. It is not straight forward to
hand over the downloaded messages to procmail.
