Well, i think its a simple routing problem. Pls add the default gw of the client machine to the proxy. At the clients end
#route add default gw <ip_of_squid> Of course u need to have ip forwarding enabled. But since u say u r getting the request from the log, it might me a masquerading problem, u need to masquerade in the server like : #ipchains -s <source_ip> -d <dest_ip> -p tcp -j MASQ Pls specify yr full details of proxy (btw is acl enabled for the Class C network?).
