If your LAN is merely doing NAT - then ok. If you are behind a proxy, then
you are out of luck maybe. Several chat clients do let you chat from behind
a proxy IF your proxy admin hasn't firewalled IRC (port 6667) off.

Method 2: To copy a file from Linux to a Windows partition
#mount -t msdos /dev/fd0 /floppy (/floopy is mount point)
#cp /path/filename /floppy
Then boot through Win/ DOS and copy from Floppy
