Which distro is this ?

Are you trying a UMSDOS/ partitionless install ? That won't
work on Win-2k partition.

You would have boot through floppy/ CD and re-partition the
existing box (after maybe deleting some partitions) to make
space for Linux ext2 partitions, before you can proceed.
