Yes it does create vmlinux ... but it also creates "bzImage" ..

I have not used vmlinuz in quite a while.. because the kernel has gotten
too big for that compression algo... so I guess they must have removed it.
(make vmlinuz ... while it existed would also create both vmlinux and
vmlinuz)
