It is indeed open source, a small 20 line perl script.
Mail me if you want it.
The other interesting thing the daemon does is to kick off the user (change
IP
table entry ) after a pre determined time, ideal for cyber cafe.
This is probably the problem with squid, as it does not kick of a user once
it has logged in.
