Hi Guys, I'm stuck and cannot connect to the net.
I'm using RH7.1, kernel 2.4.2-2 Given below is the WvDial log: -------------------------------------------------------- WvDial: Internet dialer version 1.41 Initializing modem. Sending: ATZ ATZ OK Sending: ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 S11=55 +FCLASS=0 OK Modem initialized. Sending: ATDT 172233 Waiting for carrier. ATDT 172233 CONNECT 115200/V42BIS Carrier detected. Waiting for prompt. Don't know what to do! Starting pppd and hoping for the best. Starting pppd at Thu Mar 7 14:54:24 2002 PPP daemon has died! (exit code = 10) Disconnecting at Thu Mar 7 14:54:54 2002 Auto Reconnect will be attempted in 5 seconds pppd error! Look for an explanation in /var/log/messages. ---------------------------------------------------------------- I checked the /var/log/messages: didn't get any clues. What should I do?
