There is power adapter to usb modem. In windows once you start windows, it
automatically switches on. However in Linux this does not happen, even
after the usb modules are loaded. I had tried this once, but it did not
work under linux.

If anybody is successful in configuring dlink usb modem, let the list know.
Since this is going to be the modem of the future (usb devices).
