hi list, Been trying to configure postfix in vain for much of the day. The configuration is for my home machine running Freebsd and connected to internet using a dial-up connection from vsnl.
Also, on the machine my user name is the same as the one i have with the ISP. The main.cf file (pertinent parts) looks like this >>> myhostname = abc.my.domain mydomain = vsnl.net myorigin = $mydomain defer_transports = smtp disable_dns_lookups = yes relayhost = 203.197.12.9 When i clear the queue, i get this message - sendmail :gethostbyaddr(205.200.174.186) failed:2 i tried looking for the error in sendmail's manual page but there isn't anything there.
