Hi everyone, i'm trying to configure postfix on my home m/c. This is what my main.cf looks like (the pertinent parts) >>> myhostname = abc.my.domain mydomain = my.domain myorigin = vsnl.net defer_transports = smtp disable_dns_lookups = yes relayhost = 203.197.12.9
i have a user on my machine with the same name as on the isp server. So, postfix just has to do is append the @isp.net and viola we have the correct sender address. Unfortunately, i am getting this error and the mails aren't going through. >> Apr 3 14:07:48 sendmail[229]: gethostbyaddr(203.200.174.186) failed: 2 What can be the problem and how can it be corrected.
