I have been trying to use cdrdao for some days now. It seems to ask for the cd-reader as well as the cd-writer to be scsi. How do I manage this ? I already have append="hdd=ide-scsi" in my lilo.conf. I tried adding append="hdc=ide-scsi" but lilo cribs saying it is a duplicate statement.
How do I manage scsi emulation for both hdc & hdd. Also , the cdrdao manpage is pretty crytic (at least to me) so can anyone point me to some links for use of cdrdao,(there are no links fro the website except fpr one example) or can someone post what I should use at the cli to 1. copy a cd from hdc to hdd 2. write a multisession cd. many thanks, Sharukh. -- Dr. Sharukh K.
