use 

cdrdao copy --device 0,0,0

This will create a image file of the CD on you hdd. Than you can burn that
image using cdrdao or cdrecord. I have not tried burning the image file on
CD using cdrdao. But with cdrecord / gcombust I was able to burn this
image.

ps. : just check out the syntax of --device  in cdrdao. I don't have it
handy here. Remember you will have to put the CD in the CD-Writer only not
CD-ROM.

Not yet tried if cdrdao can burn multisession CD's. Short of time. Will try
it shortly.
