Hello,
I've been trying different ways to solve this problem, but I've got no
solid results. I've been trying to relay mail from my *own* server using
a dailup connect. Till now i didn't have any problems but some
mailservers are refusing connects. Afterwards I found that they are
trying to do a RDNS lookup of my ip and since there is no answer, they
reject my mails
I am thinking of maybe using a dyndns account, so that in my postfix
configuration, i can set myorigin=praveen.dyndns.org which will then be
a FQDN. Now even though i can receive mail like [EMAIL PROTECTED],
the question of RDNS comes up, which isn't possible [or is there any
dynamic dns service which updates RDNS too ???].
Can u suggest any ways i can make my situation more "mail friendly" ???
Or am i stuck with my ISP's smtp server ??
