Is that bad? Why you need to run postfix on your machine? Just configure mail client to send mails thr. ISP's server. Or sign up for a free pop service like gmx/hotpop/softhome[sucks bad though].. IMO configuring MTA's on dial up doesn't make any sense unless you are doing some funky mail address maskarading. You shouldn't need it in normal situations. This has been a single big problem for dial up users IIRC. Never used myself on dial up though...
